Rosa Torr is an interdisciplinary producer and writer for radio, theatre and video.

My varied arts and media projects have centred stories about creativity, marginalised youth voices, homelessness, refugees, mental health, addiction, abortion and gender identity.

Credits include Gun to your Head (VAULT Festival, 2024), Creative Lives (various works) (BBC Radio, 2021-2023), RATTUS RATTUS: the epic tale of man vs rat (Norfolk and Norwich Festival, National Centre for Writing, 2022-2023), The Creation Station (First Light Festival, 2022), Sea Her (Directors Cut Theatre, 2020), Shapes (Extract) (Soho Theatre, 2019), Bump (TARA Arts, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Smock Alley Theatre, Waterstones, 2017-2019), Unnamed solo work (1-2-1 Festival) (Battersea Arts Centre, 2011).

Education

  • MA (First Class Honours with distinction) Dramaturgy and Writing for Performance from Goldsmiths College, University of London (2018-2019)

  • BA (Upper Second Class Honours) Politics &Philosophy from University College Dublin (2014-2017)

  • I trained in Acting with Fourth Monkey Theatre Company (2012) and was awarded the Ad Astra Performing Arts Scholarship (First Class honours) from University College Dublin (2017).
