I am a writer and producer.

As a writer I mainly write plays. I like to write things that feel daunting, untouchable and weird. I wrote a play called RATTUS RATTUS about a family - where a rat is let loose in their house - while they confront familial alcoholism. I wrote a funny play about abortion called Bump. On Mangrove Field is a play about teenagers, illegal raves and land reclamation. I wrote about a killer whale that suffers domestic violence in Sea Her. I like things with humour; marginal things; bodily things; things that confront in some way. I like settings that feel uncanny.

As an interdisciplinary producer I specialise in community and youth engagement projects; person-led, collaborative, fun, uplifting and inclusive. I work with communities who don’t often receive access to arts. For BBC Radio, I produced Purfleet Radio, a six-part series co-created with people experiencing homelessness, and Tastes of Home, a cooking series co-hosted by refugees from around the world. I currently oversee Collusion’s FUSE programme that supports young creatives at risk of unemployment in King’s Lynn.

Below is a CV style thing with links - because my career has had lots of twists and turns and is hard to summarise. If you’re a potential employer or maybe a HIGH FLYING agent who wants to represent me, I can send you more details and interesting things to read.
